Change of average Property price in Spain

According to TINSA (property appraiser), the average price of housing in Spain in October experienced since more than 7 years an increase.

The average price of all properties in Spain was at 1,349 points - up 0.8% from October 2014.
Balearic and Canary Islands, as well as the Mediterranean Coast have an increase by 3.6% and 4.2%. Capitals and Major cities have a slight upward trend as well by 0.6%.

TINSA compared their monthly collected data's, based on the value per square metre of a property and compared its level to 2001 (base 1000).

In beginning of 2008 the Spanish market recorded its first annual price fall which continued until now. In 2013 the decline began to slow down and in 2014 the IMIE Index showed a stable trend between 1.320 and 1.340.
